Olympus WS 600S The Olympus WS-600S is a combination of digital voice recorder and mass storage device. This Olympus digital recorder built-in flash memory that can store 2GB of data which equates to 529 hours of voice recordings in LP mode. As a mass storage device, the Olympus WS-600S can be used to transfer files from one computer to another. It can be connected to computer without a separate cable as the USB connector is built-in. This Olympus digital recorder works well with AAA battery and the package is bundled with one alkaline AAA battery.

The Olympus WS-600S records voice in MP3 and WMA (Windows Media Audio) file formats that are supported natively by Windows Media Player. So, there is no additional software need to be installed in order to download and manage those files. Those owners with Macintosh computers also do not need additional software to play MP3 files. The earphone jack permits playback through earphones and its microphone jack accommodates accessory microphones in place of the built-in stereo microphone.
